Most pre-digital era songs lacked accompanying video content, as radio was the dominant medium. Our studio aims to give such recordings a fitting aesthetic and historical context. A good example is our lyric video for Đorđe Marjanović’s 1960 song “Prodavač novina” (“The Newspaper Hawker”).

The video reflects the song’s theme about a melancholic newspaper vendor lost amid turbulent world events, yet focused on his small world and love—the true “breaking news.” Technically, it uses classic Hollywood-style spinning newspaper montages and transitions, with archival clippings related to the artist. Lyrics replace newspaper headlines, and the visuals are enhanced with vintage film effects like dust and scratches to evoke an authentic old-film atmosphere.
